Function Generator and CRO (oscilloscope)

  

1. Lets give a try to this thing called Multisim, to analyse a very basic circuit,

2. We will use a function generator to use its output as input to CRO.

3. Follow the Images and steps associated.

A. Open > Multisim

B. Place A function generator

C  Place a CRO.

C.I. Place a ground and establish the circuit.

Menu Bar > Place > Component

Search in the marked box with red, select the from the green, press ok' and place wherever desired.

orange arrow: play/pause/stop the circuit

orange line: function generator variac

blue link: CRO display

D. Vary the Fn Generator Output.

E. study the CRO display panel.

  

4. The CRO shows the behavior of input on its display, we can manipulate the height and width of the function by varying the scaling of voltage and time frames/axes.
